The Common Gaming Houses Act of 1953, as amended in 1983, and the Betting Act of 1953, as amended in 1992, are the primary laws governing gambling-related concerns.
Although Malaysia has a large gambling industry, the permit status of these games is unclear due to a lack of clear rules.
